Remembrance

The special Remembrance Service on 18 November was pleasingly attended by 43 people. The congregation included the '11 year old boy' who saw the descent of the Wellington bomber on the parish boundary in 1943 and our church Patron, David Humfrey. Two of David's uncles were among the five parishioners who lost their lives in WW1.

The collection totalled £242.15, being divided equally between the Royal British Legion and the church. The PCC thanks everyone who attended the service and those who contributed to the event.
