HS2 Banbury Lane Closures November and December 2025 (as amended I November)

HS2 are continuing to work on the Lower Thorpe viaduct above Banbury Lane which will require short-term road closures of Banbury Lane through Lower Thorpe on the following dates (as amended 31 October 2025).:

The current dates are:

• Monday 3 November to Wednesday 5 November
• Monday 24 November to Tuesday 25 November

• Wednesday 10 December to Friday 19 Decembe

Additional closures are planned but may change depending on construction progress and weather conditions. HS2 suggest checking the roadside date boards or online updates for the latest information:

HS2 anticipate a few more closures in January to complete the deck work in this area. There will be further closures in 2026 when the parapet and other fixtures are installed.
