Circular Bench On The Village Green

The circular bench around the tree on the entrance to the village, by the Three Conies, is in a poor state of repair. The Parish Council will be considering a proposal for its replacement at the council meeting on 29 June.

Extinction Rebellion HS2 Walk

Extinction Rebellion members are walking the HS2 route. The Extinction Rebellion website indicates that they are scheduled to leave the Chipping Warden/Edgcote vicinity at 8.00am on Tuesday, 23 June at 8.00am heading southwards.

Parish Church Coronavirus Update

The PCC is delighted to be flying a splendid "Thank You" flag in gratitude for what NHS and keyworkers have done for us all. It will remain on the mast for the foreseeable future.

Although churches have been able to be open for individual private prayer since 13 June, unfortunately the related regulations are currently too onerous for the PCC to open the church.

Parish Council Meetings

Parish Council meetings have resumed using the Zoom online conferencing facility during the coronavirus pandemic. This follows recent legislation authorising this procedure.
Members of the public are warmly invited to join the online meetings. Access details are given with the formal notices of the meetings. However, public participation is at the chairman's discretion, as usual.

Dog Fouling

A complaint has been received regarding dog mess in Bulls Lane.
It is an offence if the owner of a dog allows their animal to foul in a public place without clearing it up and there is a fixed penalty for offences. There is a facility on the South Northants Council website for reporting sitings of dog owners not cleaning up their dogs' mess in a public place.

Waste Bin Collections and closure of recycling centres
